Religion is an indirect arm of the state- used to control and subdue the masses- notice how the richer people are- the less religious they are?

No one thought Hitler was a God... except maybe Hitler. You need to read your history before making stupid statements about something you know nothing about.
In the 1930's Germany was starving. There was a world wide depression. The German people would have followed Satan if he had promised them prosperity. Hitler did so the people followed him.
The same was true in France, and Italy. With DeGaulle and Musolini... and here in the U.S. People flocked to Franklin Delano Roosevelt because he promised them prosperity.
I do however agree with yout last statement: I will rephrase it: Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.

Yes, it is true that us humans can be very impressionable, and fooled.
But, i IF you look at Jesus in Comparisson to Hitler, you will see they are worlds apart.
Check out the book below,,
For the record, dont follow the "masses", follow Truth, and it will always lead you in the right direction.

If 10 s of million believe Hitler was a God ,that mean 10s of people were stupid,
It is too sad to know there are really people said what their parents said to them without really know if it is true or not, though they are not stupid but only in religion one

I serioulsy doubt there was any that believed Hitler was a God. I think youre just exagerrating. And if Hitler-worship were a religion, it was the shortest religion of all!
A true sign Christianity is true is that is has lasted for centuries and its only getting stronger!
Idiot rulers come and go and even cult leaders, but the God of creation is eternal and is looking for people of faith.

The belief in Hitler lasted for a decade, not for 20 centuries.

I agree with your point. People are easily fooled. However i don't think people thought Hitler was god. More like a spiritual and political leader put together.
