at work, a guy i've seen several times walked by me and he was staring, so i looked at him but once i looked he stared down at the floor quick, why did he do that? i think he's cute but we've seen each other for a long time, should i wait for him to say something?

Well, guys (as we all know) aren't really straight forward when they like a girl. Maybe he's interested....but shy. Or it could be that he's interested but doesn't tell you because he doesn't want you to get in the way of his work (or work to get in the way of you). Then again, he could want something to stare at, or is so stumbled by your beauty, he can't help but stare. Theres a lot of possiblities, but hey. Maybe if he does like you, if you like him, maybe you should make the first move: start a conversation with him. You have nothing to lose =]
