Well...nothing really works. I have tried them all believe me. I use what I have left on my face. Works great for that. But just keeping your weight down and using a great lotion that does not cost a fortune helps smooth them but they never go away. I use Shea cocoa butter in my lotions. Seems to work better than any of them from Walgreen's. Don't waste your money but be confident with your looks, and the rest falls in place.
Oh I had a tattoo put on around my belly button it hid a lot of the bad ones and it is cute. I can at least show that sometimes. My boyfriend could care less about my skin. He loves me despite the grossness of stretch marks. I call them my badges of Honor. Two beautiful kids to prove it.

Vitamin E is the best thing. Mine are barely there. About inch long marks, only 2 or 3 where NO ONE would ever see them, and I think thats cause I got careless. You can even buy vitamin E gel pills at the dollar store & break them open on your areas. GOOD LUCK

Medically known as "striae gravidarum", stretch marks are caused by excessive stretching of the skin.
Pregnancy, rapid weight gain or loss and puberty, are the usual causes of stretch marks. Almost half of all expectant women and many teenagers will acquire this condition
Depending on your skin color, the marks start out as pink, reddish brown, or dark brown streaks. The reddish-brown pigmentation in the marks gradually fades, and the stretch marks or "striae" begin to look like glistening silvery lines of scar tissue.Use this creme ,i used it personally for my strech markS.
Use "ARTISTRY TIME DEFIENCE DERMA ERASE".The first product from Artistry specifically designed to target expression lines. Artistry Time Defiance Derma Erase is a concentrated, non-surgical, non-invasive alternative to relax the appearance of expression linES.
