I agree with Christie. Not only that, but since you don't have any idea what you're doing and how to breed, if you try, you'll likely hinder your birds' trust towards you and your lack of knowledge will have them and any potential chicks suffering immensely. If you don't know what you're doing, chances are significantly higher that you'll wind up with one or more dead birds, and you'll have to live with the fact that it was your fault by getting them to lay eggs just because your parents wouldn't let you buy another.

By the way, you probably won't end up with one more. You may get three to five more birds this way. Not worth it.

You need to get them a nesting box. Go to the pet store and ask for a nesting box for budgies. With a nesting box in the cage, they'll investigate it and probably eventually decide to mate.

Make sure you have something planned out for the young ones, though. You'll either have to take them to a pet store or find them homes yourself.

Go to the pet shop and ask the seller. You gotten two Parakeets and that you want them to have a nest in there cage so they could breed. also ask the seller how to tell which is which. make sure you have a male and female.

Your parents already said that they don't want you to have another bird. Don't breed them to defy your parents.

Besides, they would have to purchase proper nesting materials and would figure out what you are up to.
