Not only Liver Cancer, but Cancer in General, American Cancer Society, they are trying to earn money for research, they have a huge amount of FAITH that one day a cure will be found for cancer

Lots of groups all around the world. Do a quick search with the Pubmed search engine to have an idea. Then you can go on their institute/university website to have an idea of what they do, if they are presently doing clinical research (which I guess is your main interest ?).

For example, this company Metabasis Therapeutics, based in San Francisco, has a drug for liver cancer in phase 1/2 clinical.

NIH also advertises for clinical trials (and maybe it is easier to check out for the non-expert!), by disease and location. Just enter "liver cancer" and your location, and you will have a list of clinical trials with all details (what kind of patients they are recruiting, ie stage, other conditions, age, what is the treatment, who is doing it, publications and initial study, etc.).
