I downloaded an anti-virus program but didn't have time to click on run and now have done a search for it but cannot find it. Does this mean it's not installed and i have to download it again ? I don't have a lot of computer knowledge. Thanks in advance

Hello. My ID is Dell Tech, a train computer technician.

I need more information to determine the best solution.

According to what I got to understand, you downloaded an Anti Virus software and did not have the time to click RUN or SAVE.

If what I assume is correct, then I can certainly help..

Open IE and go to tools. Delete your cookies and history... Click the OK button to confirm...

This will delete the installation of your Anti Virus and will enable you to re-download it again...

The next time you download your Anti Virus software, click on RUN and follow the easy installation guidance...

Message from Dell Tech.

Sorry to say but yes do will have to download it again! It is neccesary to click run. If your having problems with downloads you can download get right 6.2, this is a program that resumes broken downloads and increases download speeds, you will access it at c/net. I recently had big problems with a download that kept failing so I downloaded this program and was able to finish the download.Unfortunatly this program is not free but it does have a free trial so use it as much as possible during that time and download anything you've had problems with previously. GL ;-)

Hi. First, listen to the Dell guy or gal. Then check for recent additions to your download folder to see if you can find it.
