We broke up for good in Jan 07. He cheated on me and lied to me. I moved out of the house we shared and he moved his new girlfriend in 3 days later, yet he continues to harass me. What is this all about?

Mostly due to the fact that "moving on" isn't really the way it works. Really "moving on" means deal with the fact that you want be able to talk to someone you love because of some damn ego problem you and them share. Its so much more complicated then we like to believe that we get ourselves into missed up situations. You most likly feel great about the seperation in bond due to the fact that you can no longer feel good anything this man does for you. On the other hand he can't feel that way because cheating doesn't just happen there usually alot of ego play going on. So no matter how well he does with someone else it well only remind him of how he failed with you. So welcome to great mess our wonderful hearts can get us into because they never forget. But this is a time for you to be vendictive. Play a little pay back and put the brink wall up on him. Talk about pain...

For the record...I agree with Garnet. Move before something awful happens. Godspeed.

Why is he doing this? Well, it's pretty simple...men are little boys in the bodies of grown men. What he is doing is called stalking and it's against the law but Garnet's right about the peace bond issue. Move and tell no one where you are going, then fade into the woodwork. Caution your family about telling no one where you are...never let your guard down. Garnet's right, he does sound dangerous.

Again...Godspeed.

I would contact the police and tell them that you are afraid of him and that he
won't leave you alone. If you get a peace bond it's not really worth the paper
it's written on. Try to move address unknown. Please be careful he sounds
very dangerous to me. Wants his cake and eat it too.
