The doctors were right... Ovarian cancer in stage 4 is untreatable.

You can donate her to science; who knows, maybe your hamster will pave the way for ovarian cancer treatment -- at least she'll be dying for a cause and millions may survive because of that.

I'm sorry; but there's nothing more you can do.. it's a hamster.

Clearly a joke.

First, how does one find out a hamster has ovarian cancer?

Second, one month is an extremely long time for a hamster which typically live only 2 years. Cancer would probably kill a hamster much sooner. It does in most lab rats.

Try Hamsterville in Oregon. They have a hamster sanitarium for treating hamsters with ovarian cancer. There also is a facility next door to treat the owner's trauma that deals with being exposed to owning a hamster with ovarian cancer.Best of luck!

As long as we have women in this country with Ovarian cancer not getting the treatment they need- And we don't have a cure- I don't really think we should be putting resources towards hamsters

Please...your priorities are pure crap! Women have a slim chance of beating ovarian ca. as it is, feed her to a cat and be done with it...there's nothing that can be done short of chemotheraputic torture(although for a hamster that's not a bad idea). Try palliative radiation treatment with a microwave!

one of the best medicines for animals is cesium chloride with rubidium and DMSO. It was tested on animals before it was tested on humans. And for the most part, it has worked in curing the animal within hours. The difference was that it was tested on various animals, and mice were one of them, but hamsters werent. Good luck....

I AM SORRY TO HEAR THAT YOUR HAMSTER IS SO SICK. REALLY THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO BUT MAKE HER COMFORTABLE. LETTING GO OF ANY PET IS HARD BUT IT'S BETTER THAT SHE PASSES ON THEN TO BE HERE SUFFERING. HANG IN THERE!
