if he says "a little" then he likes you... he wouldn't admit to it at all unless he did like you ;) i think he's flirting with you because he LIKES you.. he may just be shy... guys can be like that sometimes..

You are mixing up liking someone with having a relationship with them. That proves just how immature you really are. Girls and guys BOTH flirt, because they LIKE the people they flirt with. Flirting is simply friendly banter, teasing, silly remarks. I flirt all the time myself...it means nothing other than I enjoy the personality of the person I am flirting with...I LIKE them. But that doesn't necessarily mean I want to have a relationship with them or that I have a crush on them. or anything. It simply means that I like the person they are. This guy has already admitted, he LIKES you...as a friend...doesn't want a relationship with you. Obviously you are way too young for ANYTHING else but friendships right now anyway.

It sounds like YOU may LIKE HIM. If that's the case, you should examine your own actions, and perhaps ask yourself if you're making more of his friendly actions. Sometimes, males and females start a friendship by flirting.
