First off, go to your phone book or get an operator on the phone and ask for a 24 hour animal emergency number. Or phone a vet or pet store. They should be able to give you some advice over the phone about the product, and possibly how to clear the birds throat.
Also, here is a couple of websites with forums for questions:
http://www.practical-pet-care.com they can answer your bird questions.
or try http://www.network54.com
You will have to sign and register to both of them. Best of luck.

Stop the gravel!!!
Most cage birds do NOT need gravel to digest their feed. The diet pet birds get is quite different from what wild birds eat. Check with any bird magazine on line or bird club for verification to what I said.

TAKE THE GRAVEL OUT NOW! Get your bird to an AVIAN VET asap!!!

Hookbills shell their seeds and DO NOT need gravel to digest their food. He may have crop impactation which will kill him if not treated!
