I work with my ex boyfrend,and we r usually working at the same time on saturdays.he is always looking at me at work,i can see him looking out the corner of my eye,its sarted to get really annoying an i dont like it(he is still hung up on me!) so i told him im goin out with this other guy we work with who im jus frends with....Do u think this will make him stop staring at me???

probably not. once you love someone, you love them forever. thats it. he's still having problems letting go. maybe ask your manager if you can work a differnt shift or work on the "other side" of the building or whatever. someplace away from his eye contact.

How difficult do you want to make your workplace? Would you like him to circulate the office rumour that you and this other guy are going out? How will this other guy feel? What would you do if he were to ask you out? What if your ex realises you just said this to stop his from staring at you? What if he interprets this as a sign that you're trying to make him jealous?
Exs are dangerous, particularly male exs, guys have just no idea how to deal with all the conflicting emotions that are all over the place. Be straightforward and upfront with him, and don't try to lie, because that just causes more problems - tell him you don't appreciate him staring at you, because it makes you uncomfortable. And be nice to him - encourage him to go out and meet new people, because that's what you want. That will allow him to use his feelings for you to help get over you.

It will depend but I don't think it will stop him from looking at you, but sometimes you just have to be brutally honest and tell him you have no feelings for him and you are over him. So its time that he does the same. Good Luck
