Nothing is mentioned afterwards about her fate, except, we know, that the TRUE mother got her baby back.......

We are not told what happens to her. We aren't even told which woman was the real mother, all we are told is that the real mother was discovered and given the child. The point of the story was not for our own closure; rather, it was to reveal to us the great wisdom of King Solomon, the most wise man that ever lived.

The Bible doesn't say but she was probably put to death. The wages of sin is death and this would have been premeditated attempted murder.
