Okay so there is this guy. He is so amazing and the greatest guy out there. He and I started talking like a month and a half ago and then after 2 weeks of talking and just hanging out we decided to make it official. Well, he is in a band and really,really good and he is wanting to move somewhere where the band can get more recognition so he is moving this summer. He and I talked and we decided to just be friends and hang out because in the long run its just going to hurt more. Well, we have still been hanging out and I love his friends and he is friends with one of my good girlfriends so we all always hang out. I can't help but like him so much! I told him that I was still going to have very strong feelings for me and he said that he is going to have feelings for me still and that its going to be really hard but he can't not see me in his life. He is so perfect and we have such great times together and I want to know how to stop having feelings for him. He is such a beautful person.

Ride it out and see where life takes you, god wouldn't let you two leave oneanother or love anyone else unless it isn't meant to be.

You can't stop your feelings.
Sometimes the timing seems not right.
You have met him now at this time in your life and you will learn to let go when he leaves.
It is in the cards that you two are not going to be together. It is a time for you each to pursue your own lives and live them to the fullest.
His career is the most important thing to him now and it should be. This will be his chance to make it or break itl.
It is time for you to grow as an individual and this relationship will be preparing you for the many more you will have in your life.
You will realize even if something seems so right , it is not always what will happen in your life.
Take hold of the experience, keep up the friendship if you want to, but you know life on the road for a musician is not easy and there are alot of girls hangin around.
This is not something you should have to worry about, as you have bigger fish to fry.
You have a whole big life in front of you to live and experience and enjoy.;
Sorry, but the feelings will be there for a long time ands there is nothing on this earth to make them disappear.
You will find once he is gone and doing his thing, you will be doing yours and you will not be travelling in the same cirlces.
You will both grow, but in different directions.
Take it for what it is, a life lesson and get on with your life.
If you want, keep a part in your heart for the good memories you have, and that is all.
Get on with life...... it is waiting for you.......

Just take one day at a time, while he's still there you can enjoy his company or move on. But he flat out told you that he didn't see you in his life, so I would take that as a pretty big hint that you should move on. Maybe if he doesn't see you around as much, he might realize he can't live without you in his life or that he really didn't like you as much as you think he did. Either way, you will be on your way to exploring other relationships with people who really want you with them.

it sounds like there is a wonderful connection between you two - what are you waiting for? go get him and enjoy! only one thing can be guaranteed - you have no idea what will happen tomorrow - he MAY move so the band MIGHT get more recognition - you MAY go with him! or he MIGHT stay! live in the moment and grab life and love with both hands!

you know im really not so sure on this one if you like someone its kinda hard to stop likeing them my friend/cousin had the same deal happen she was sad but she got over it just try looking at the other guys out there

"You know you could love him but you can't?", Wow! You make Spinoza sound like a simpleton. Wouldn't it be better if you knew you can't love him, but you could? That would be less confusing. Well for now, since you can't love him though you could, just love his friends and his band and the fact that you could love him but you can't. Right...

you can't make yourself have feelings for someone.. are you attracted to him? but at the same time, sometimes if you let your walls down you can start having feelings for someone.. it all depends
