I wouldn't assume love unless the word was said. He could be thinking 'adore' or 'cherish' and if you start assuming he means love you could be setting yourself up for heart break.

Very likely. He's too shy to say the word 'love' (it can take a lot of effort if you're not used to it) and doesn't want to use some other word for fear of sounding pretentious. He's certainly saying he has very strong feelings for you, even if not quite love, though it could mean that he's not sure what the feelings are and doesn't want to commit himself. Depends on what the guy is like.

Can we just say men and women are programmed differently? Guys have some trouble with emotions, especially vocalizing them. If you use your eyes to judge his love rather than your ears you will probably get a more accurate reading.
It may be an absurd example but would you rather he protected you from being raped and murdered or said, "I love you".
I.E. Actions speak louder than words.

no , idont think it means i love you, means he likes you a lot, when you hear the words, i love you, coming from his mouth then you will know he means it, but some guys are shy when it comes down to them 3 little words, kinda like sissy words to men, and we dont like getting into them, good luck anyway.

it means he likes you alot but is not sure if he loves you. love is a big word & it changes relationships as soon as it is said. maybe wait a few weeks then see what he has to say.
