Give your head a shake! No!!!. I don't know what state your in, but consider this, under the best of conditions, and I mean, the best of conditions, you give the teller a note, say please, and thank you, get away with your 5 hundred, to a thousand dollars, because your not going to get much more, looking over your shoulder daily to get caught, and you will get caught!!! Unless, your really determined to listen to that really bad movie that's play in in your head, you're lookin at a violent B-C felony, low ball ! 11/3 to 4 years in prison, and that's with no prior record. They don't pay much in prison, but, who am I to judge, maybe you'd like the smell of TOP(rolling tobacco), ***, and balls, hell maybe the joint is a step up for you, but real bad asses, fight, their battles, win lose or draw, by the rules of decency, and honor, don' be a fool!! God Bless You

If you really want "Serious answers only", try asking a serious question. I seriously doubt anyone believes this qualifies. That said, the average amount taken in a bank robbery closer to $5000 than to $20,000.

If you rob a single teller, they won't have more than about $1000 INCLUDING the 'bait money'. Even if you clean out the vault, there is often less than $20,000 cash in the branch.

You may as well--just don't hurt anyone in the process. Because if you think this way, you are likely to come up with some just as lame & hurtful way of getting what you believe to be your needs met...so you may as well go ahead & get it out of the way, so you can be arrested, off the streets, and hopefully, after a good long "time out" ready to try new, legit ways of taking care of business.

I know, because I have been to prison twice, and wished I could have learned my lesson right the first time. Believe me, nothing in life is ever free, and you will have to be looking over your shoulder the rest of your life, even if you do seem to "get away with it" at first.

Nah! Too Risky. Cameras everywhere, guards, silent alarms, dye packets mixed with the money... and they don't keep much cash out of the timed safe where a hard working thief can steal it. Maybe they would loan the money to you instead. Or join the military, they pay a 40,000 dollar signup bonus.

If you actually think you could get away with it, you should do it.
I would start smaller though like a coffee stand.
