well my cat makes this really weird noise and i don't know what it is it is really weird and its not meowing

I'd say if it is a girl she is in heat (it's that time of year). She is calling for a boy cat to come and find her if it sound like moaning. My friends cat is in heat and she sounds like she is saying "mom" only it is really long and stretched out MOooommm. It also sounds like a child crying at night sometimes. really eerie

Kinda hard to tell without hearing it. A low rumbling sound near the throat is a purr, which means they are content. They may do long low growl at night when they are playing and running around the house. If it's a cough or gasping sound, they may be ill. Cats will make an odd, gulping sound before they throw up a hairball. It may take days of them doing this before they bring it up, you will usually notice the cat hunched over when it's doing this though. Can you describe the sound a little better? And tell us what else the cat is doing when it makes that sound?

Like the first answer, it could be a number of things. Also, one of the rarer things could be happening. Some cats can actually learn to mimick the sounds of humans and repeat words they say. Some cats manage to say 'no' or 'i love you' or 'hello'. It's very unlikely, but it happens.

I'd say if your cat is female she's probably in heat. Calling a mate.
If it's male........He's on the ppppprrrrrrrrrrowl!
