Assuming your a girl, a lot of the times, guys don't always know how to come out and be straight forward with their feelings. LOL. I'm sure you already know that. But sometimes its difficult. Its a "man" thing to not share emotions or feelings. If they do, they feel its a sign of weakness and then they crumble. So they're way of saying "I miss you" is maybe saying "Did you miss me" You could reverse the question after saying "Yes, did you miss me too?" and it may break the ice a little bit with getting him to open up. Sorry, guys world is complicated! But then again, so are the girls'!

Because they feel vulnerable opening up to you. Not your fault that's their hangup. I'm sure that the person misses you or they wouldn't have called.

Maybe they want some attention and want to be reassured that someone misses them.

Because their relationship just broke up. Don't be anyone's 2nd choice.
