I have a light blue-green and silver bedspread. I have teal (more toward the blue end of teal and dark) colored curtains. Furthermore, I have silver and teal nightstand lamps. All of these things were choosen to go together and all match pretty well. I have painted the wall behind the bed a metallic silver and had planned for this to be an accent wall. Now I'm having trouble selecting a color to paint the other 3 walls in the room which are currently white. Any suggestions?

Your room sounds beautiful! Nice cool colors all the way around. I'm a huge fan of metallics!!

I see your dilemma in picking a wall color for the 3 walls. You don't want to have too much teal or bold colors right? Then that silver wall really does sort of throw things off even though it will be gorgeous..

here's an idea....

I don't think the dark curtains will look BAD, but I think that if you could pick a lighter teal and then do exactly as one of the people posting before me suggested: take your teal curtains to a paint store and have them get the formula to match that teal...BUT, have them mix it at 25%. It will be very very light compared to your other teal, but the same hue. That way you are not having too many "teals" in the room.

another option would be to keep the walls and the curtains the exact same teal as each other, but accent the curtians with silver tie backs and curtain rods (silver accessories are endless, depending on how sparkly you want things to be).

i LOVE the colors of your room!

You have blue and green and teal. With this selection of colors, Use the one that is the least dominant, but stay with a lighter tones. Don't use the dark teal of your curtains. I am visualizing that the light blue would work well. If you have to, take the bedspread with you, to get an exact match of the light blue, at your paint supplier. There are too many shades of blue, it is endless. Good Luck. Your room sounds like it is going to be beautiful.

Light gray, maybe with a nice piece of artwork, highlighting your color scheme. ( my husbands a photographer and, i am picturing one of his pieces that would look beautiful in your setting lol )
