I know how you feel! RLS can be really bad in some people (me) and it is a feeling worse than pain (I feel).
I was told by a neurologist to take Magnesium (sometimes helps). Sometimes can be an iron deficiency so check your iron levels (my neurologist told me). You need to see a doctor. Please tell your mom. I started having it when I was about your age (33 now) and it only got worse. Right now, the only thing that helps is Vicodin, but I stopped taking Vicodin a few months ago (no insurance).

I also take Requip (prescribed by the neurologist) which is for my Parkinson's disease (I have that too and RLS is a symptom). Requip and Mirapex is also prescribed for RLS.

You need to see a doctor maybe one of those prescription meds can help. Try the magnesium in the meantime (get a good quality one). *I take 500 mg of magnesium. They recommend things like warm baths, heat, etc., but those things do not help me.

I sympathize with you I have suffered for years with RLS I take a drug prescribed by my Dr. There are several on new medication now. Try 2 extra strength Tylenol or its generic. I helps my brother who suffers from it also. When you get an attack get up and move around till your legs feel better. I know that you are loosing sleep and how awful you must feel. ask your mom to read this and other answers to backup your need to see a Dr. You could call also he might prescribe something over the phone. It's real. I am a Nurse

some people find that aspirin helps for some reason.

I find that if I put on long socks, it helps, and turning on a mattress pad heater.

Restless legs can be caused by withdrawal from drugs like benzos (valium, ativan) and antidepressants. Those pills need to be tapered off.

Anxiety makes RLS worse. Reducing your anxiety level will really decrease the symptoms, if anxiety is a problem for you.

My psychiatrist told me to take magnesium supplements. I take one pill (forget how much, but it is 63% of my RDA) and that has helped A LOTTTTTT!!!!!! I didn't get RLS as bad as you, tho. You will have to look up magnesium and see how much is safe. some vitamins/minerals you can overdose and poison yourself, and I dunno if this is one of those.

Good luck!!

the suitable OTC scientific care is the mixture use of nicotine patch and gum or lozenge. you will positioned on the patch all day, and use the gum/lozenge once you have a bad yearning. on the prescription component, there are bupropion and Chantix. Chantix does have a extra effective efficacy, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it has extra component consequences. Bupropion is off patent.

mikhail,,,,,,,,,,theres 2 routes for your problem,,,,,,,see the doc about,,,,,rozneopol, schmoznpol,,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe 10 options of prescrip stuff that you can take,,,,probly all with side effects,,,,,,,your doc likely tells drug co reps to visit his office on thursday & friday only cause the pharm co reps would take up the whole workweek and doc might see no pts at all.one of the drugs might work, or might not work, second option you might try is to reduce the amounts of peanuts, chips ,colas, cheddar or romano cheese chips, instead eat whole grain stuff,3 or 4 servings per week of fish(small fish,,sardines, tuna).the small cooked bones in la preferida brand of sardines contain calcium, which you might not absorb properly, and also omega 3 oils which can ease joint pain associated with arthritis.store bought calcium supplements are often derived from oysters,or egg shell.one of these might help.good luck,,,maybe this stuff will help you shake a leg..poss rx is that yer a calcium malabsorber,,,,,,,and you'll improve when you .get the appropriate calcium source into your.system...............

I agree with another, YOU'RE OLD ENOUGH TO SEE A DR. ON YOU'RE OWN, SO WHAT'S UP WITH THAT???
You do need a prescription to help.
