Actually no, not at all. The temperature of water doesn't affect your hair at all, however hot water is bad for your muscles.

Hi

Really really hot water wouldnt be good for it. But then you wouldnt be able to take that on your scalp so it wouldnt happen. Warm water is fine and not a problem at all.

It is best to rinse your hair in cold water as its supposed to add shine it helps close the cuticals so thats how it works... Just do it quickly thou as you finish and try and only get it on your head as its horrible being in a cold shower!!!

Remember to always use a good conditoner for added shine too.

Hot water is not good for you, period! warm water is best then to get shine rinse with as cool water as you can stand.

If you have colored hair however then hot water will open the cuticles & allow the color to fade which means more trips to the hairdresser.
