Most people recommend 8. Depends on the individual though, i can function on 6 and look as fresh as a daisy. However, you can find out what is right for you by a simple experiment, on the weekend get up naturally, no alarm clock, so you're waking when your body has had enough sleep. Look at yourself in the mirror and see if you feel energise that would probably be your optimum sleep quota. Good Luck.

I am ok on 7 - 8 hours sleep a night. Some people are ok on less and some need more. It depends on your lifestyle and I would love to wake up every morning glowing and fresh, who wouldnt.

A lot of people still say it should be an average of 8 hours,

but more and more studies now indicate that it should be whatever suits you.

You should know yourself better than anyone else does, so you should do some tests and find out which one (how many hours) works for you.

Experts recon you should get around 8 but in my old job Ised to live off 5 hours a night and feel great now I get 8-9 (I don't have to be up so early) I feel dreadful

Technically 8 hours, but it's really a case of finding your own individual perfect balance. I find that too many hours and I feel I've overslept, and too few hours and I'm sleepy and tired the next day. I still haven't been able to find my perfect balance (that's what coffee's for!).

Depends how old you r if you are 7-18 years old you should get 9-12 hours. 18 and up 7-12 will be ok i guess

8 hours is the norm, but I can sleep for 10 if I'm left in peace.

i have the most energy after 9 hours...after that i feel drained
and under 6 hours i feel drained
so 7-9 hours is best!!!!

depends on each individual . get a early night and when you wake up feeling refreshed ,u know that is how many hours u need
