I have always sensed that perhaps I have a destiny that only I am meant to find one day. :) What do you feel about yourself?

I believe that everyone was born for a specific purpose, that everyone's path is made for them with certain doors along the way that they can choose to open with another path to follow, but all paths lead to your destiny.

Yes, I believe everyone is born for a specific purpose and we all have a divine destiny to fulfill. It is the most fulfilling in life when we are walking on that path towards our divine destiny. It is no accident that we were all born for such a time as this.

In a completely cynical light, our entire existence is meaningless, and I believe this, but I'm not depressed or anything. We have our lives, as they are, to do whatever we wish with them. If you truly feel like you have a destiny to fulfill, well go out and find one, create one, I doubt you're going to find it on your own. I personally think I should accomplish something good and meaningful by the end of my life, but then, hey, the universe goes on....

Yes absolutely. I've known at times that I was in the right place at the right time. And I've been told prophetically that the later part of my life will be greater for the Lord that the first part (where I spent time in a Christian Drama Ministry traveling all over the world.) I don't know specifics yet but I know God has something for me.

I believe my life has purpose and destiny and the bible confirms that.11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Jeremiah 29:11

We were probably all born for a specific purpose, but whether we fulfill that purpose or not is another story.

I have a different sense.

One of impeding doom for human kind as we go around blasting everyone for doing wrong, while not dealing with the wrong we are doing ourselves.

Shouldn't we be trying to help others do better in life, instead of casting them to the scrapheap?

I don't think I have a "destiny." Perhaps a destination, but that's one I have chosen, rather than having had it imposed on me by "fate."

I believe that people make their own purposes. And I like it that way--it gives me more incentive to work hard.
