I was just over at my friends house, and she gave me some chocolate candies to eat.

They tasted like normal chocolate, but after I ate a few she told me they were really laxative squares!

What should I do? What's gonna happen? I've never had this before??

It really depends on how much you ate. Usually, it takes about 6 - 12 hours but the worse case scenario will be diarrhea. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and hopefully, you won't have to go to work or school tomorrow. I really would not recommend you take an anti-diarrhea since you don't know if she is joking, the strength of the laxative, or if it will affect you. If you just ate a square or two you may not notice anything but a heavier bowel movement. Oh, I would get rid of your 'friend'. Friends like that you do not need.

You need new friends. This one is too passive aggressive. What you are going to do is poop yourself to death. I would take some Imodium that stops diarrhea and try to stop it. At any rate you are going to have a bad stomach ache. Good Luck and God Bless

First things first I would tell your "friend" that was not a very friendly thing to do. And in about 6 to 12 hours I would make sure you are near a toilet.

stay close to the bathroom--you're going to have the poops..a laxative loosen up the bowels ,depending on how many you ate you might need to call poison control, you can only take so many of things, other wise you overdose.
