Very honestly, if I have sex on the first date, I'm not looking for a lasting relationship anyway, just a good f**k. So no, I guess I don't have much respect for a woman like that, because I will generally never see a woman like that more than just that once. Unless it's like a friends with benefits thing, but as far as lasting, real "relationships" I think waiting a little longer makes a better impression to me. If I was trying to pursue an actual relationship with someone, I wouldn't take it too seriously if we were to have sex right away.

It would make no difference to me when i slept with a woman, 1st or 10th date ... I don't respect a woman anymore or less no matter how long I wait ... and I may not wait if I think its just a waiting game anyway... games are boring

It would not make a difference as to how long the relationship would last. Making a guy wait won't really make any difference ... only his options will...

I dont expect to but sometimes I like to have sex on the first date. and yes there does seem to be more respect

although, I did sleep with my g/f on the first date, but I wasn't seeking it. And we've been together for 1 year now.

If the man is looking for sex on the first date, then he's without class. If the woman gives it to him, she is equal in that respect.

In my case, one thing led ot another and urges took over. We felt horrible afterwards. But we turned it into a relationship and life is good.

well first off honey can I suggest you put your **** away - Im not having a dig at you although no doubt you'll get me violated - but any woman that goes out with them hanging out like that is going to attract the wrong type that expects sex on the first date. YES shagging men too soon makes them loose interest - have you never heard the saying - a guy will shag a slapper but never date her - men dont want to have the type of girl that gives it up on the first night as their girlfriend - you're making yourself available for fun - and then they'll move on. any guy worth having as a boyfriend will be willing to wait for sex for as long as it takes the girl to be ready.

I've never managed it on a first date, as it's always best to wait and get to know them first. It doesn't cause me to lose respect but lose interest ? Honestly, yes.

Even if she offered, I'd decline the offer. I don't know about losing interest, but adding sex to a relationship can really change it. Adding it on the first date can kill it before it really gets a chance.

I've never been in this situation physically. The closest I've come is online dating and showing signs of affection that way. I would hope that she would express romantic interest in me even if we don't have "that kind of chat" at the beginning of our communication.

I don't think I respect a woman more if she makes me wait. But if she makes me wait then I will regard her as a lady who sees herself as classy rather than a "slapper". Each have their uses.
