Rather than being a divine being, could it be that he was from another time or place with technology and abilitys beyond us?

Hmmm... I want to break this down a little. Jesus is called "The Word of God" in the Bible. That means that He was the Creative power in the trinity in the beginning. That means he created the galaxies and planets as being God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). So... no, not a planet because He created the planets... but yes, another dimension... angels and creepy things also break through from this dimension. Your concept of Divine being presupposes that He is apart from God. He isn't He is God. The Holy Spirit is God. The father is God... all One... hard to understand, but a simplistic way of seeing that is to think of yourself. You are a body. You have a mind and will. You have an essence, a spirit, a personality that is the real you. This isn't a perfect example, but it helps a little. And the last part of your question. Jesus definately has all abilities and all technologies ever possible. Technologies are mere toys to the power He has and even to the power He gives to the most primitive believers: in some remote places people are not only healed and given new limbs (I know), but people in the jungles who begin to understand the power of God are given huge powers! This part is the Holy Spirit. Our self-reliant western world puts up so many barriers to this real power, that we look to anything else besides belief to give us answers. Very sad.

Sure. Why not? Anything is possible. Look at the advancements in technology that the human race has made, just over the past 10 years. Perhaps someday we will explore other places with highly advanced technologies and become some sort of lore to another civilization that is just in it's beginning stages.

NO, I don't think so! especially since the Bible also refers to Jesus as 'Son of Man'. Jesus also performed supernatural miracles that proves his divinity above all - and not just some alien traveler. However, I would agree that God/Jesus is a 'time traveler' as he created time, can move through time, as the Bible's prophecies reflects information from the beginning of time to the very end of time. However, I always found the book of Ezekiel fascinating as you could read many passages and it looks like Ezekial was visited by space travelers!! Read and see! Cool question!!!

Perhaps he was a divine being *and* from another time or place. I know I read somewhere in a metaphysical book that he was rumoured to have come from Venus - a very mysterious and magical planet in it's own right. Definitely possible!

He is from another domain, this is correct. But that does not make Him any less divine. He is God made flesh, died for the sins of the world, and rose again on the third day. The alpha and omega.

Sure were a gene spliced experiment from an advanced alien race.
They gave us just enough intelligence not to get off the planet. And they watch us on pay per view. I think it's a comedy channel.

Knowing what Jesus went through, I doubt that anyone from another planet would want to do what He did.

Jesus came from Heaven.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Yes, that is definetly possible. I think that he would be happy that you've given it so much thought. The Mormons belive that he is from a Galaxy called Kolob.
