No idea

Hi Lesley.
I would first wonder as to how the cork dissapeared into the bottle.
Was it a "good greif, the corkscrew has misbehaved ?"
However, if you pour a goodly amout of boiling kettle water in, and tip the bottle upside-down, the expanding hot air should try and poke the cork out of the neck. Perhaps with a bit of pen-knife persuasion.
If that fails, smash the bottle !

Oh, a PS -
Do not use a wine bag on a hot beach as a pillow.
No cork involved, but the bung goes pop with alarming results.

Cheers,
Bob.

After its been drunk feed a thin cloth in through the neck and allow it to spread out in the bottle. then fill the bottle up with water to make the cork float to the very top. Now draw the cloth back out through the neck bringing the cork into the apex of the neck enough to wedge the cork on the neck area. Now use a corkscrew to engage with the head of the cork. Now push the cork back in to the bottle enough to allow you draw out the cloth. Now use the corkscrew to remove the cork.

It does work, but I dont know whay you need to know this

Try putting some vinegar in the bottle and let it work on the cork. Dump and try it a few more times until the cork breaks down and you can remove the pieces.
Or
get a long strong steel rod and put it on the cork and break it apart piece by piece. Then dump out the pieces.

carefully...lol....if the cork is in the neck of the bottle an stuck gentle wiggling and a pull should pop it right out
...However....
if the cork is down inside the bottle...you will probably have to dissolve it to remove it from the bottle...like with a solvent of some kind....
if you are trying to save the cork ....
your easiest way is probably just smash the bottle....
Good Luck!!!

fill the bottle with salted -water , about half -full . leave it over night . then get a metal barbecue skewer & an electric drill . Insert the skewer into the drill with the sharp side in . The finger "handle" now becomes a blender . Shred the cork and rinse , it will take a couple of tries , unless you are the king ..

You put a double string inside the bottle.
Turn the bottle upside down.
By this, the cork would have travelled down to the neck of the bottle.
Manoeuvre the string until it grips the cork.
Then pull.
Voila. Your cork is out.
Now, give me ten points please.
