Well, it's one of two things, either they are in the room or they aren't. If they somehow got out of the room, they might still be somewhere in the house and just coming out at night to eat so you don't see it. I have a Himi cat too and after we got back from vacation, I was certain our house sitter had let him out because I couldn't find him for several days. She assured me she'd seen him the last day she was there pet sitting but I couldn't find him for several days, I was very panicked too. BUT...my daughter finally found him hiding in a pile of clothes , they are very, very good at hiding. If the cat got outside, then do be sure to alert your neighbors, put up "Lost cat" signs with a pic of the cat and your phone number and call any shelters in the area, put an ad in the paper too. If you want to find out if the cat is still in the room, here's a slightly messy trick that will work if the room has hardwood floors: you can sprinkle baby powder on the floor near the food and water bowls, if the cat is there and uses the food bowls, you'll see pawprints. If you have carpet in there you can still put something hard down on the ground near the bowls that you can dust with powder. Have you noticed anything in the litter box? If not, she may be going poo in her hiding place, do you smell anything in the room? Oh and another thought, you mentioned there being a washer and dryer in the room, cats can be very good at getting into small places so check the inside area of the washer/dryer by tilting them backwards and looking underneat the actual thing (it's pretty roomy under the machines)Good luck, I hope you find her.

I had a touch cat that "disappeared" like that too for a pair of days, yet she become contained in the homestead the completed time. placed a plate with a measured volume of canned nutrition on it contained in the room and leave it. come decrease back and examine later to work out if she has eaten any. this is likely that she is eating and also you merely can't tell. Cat's will be very quiet so she would properly be all accurate hidden and also you would not in any respect understand it. solid success. i imagine she's nevertheless contained in the homestead and being very quiet...

Try looking in the box spring of your bed. I've had new cats that will find or make a hole in the fabric & crawl in it. Good luck.
