Your best bet is to ask the installer. I'm fairly certain that most installers will not fix that sort of problem. If the carpet is already torn out, then it is just a matter of installing screws and resecuring the subfloor down the the floor joists. If it is old plank flooring, then sometimes may be alot more difficult to eleminate the squeeks. If you are die hard about silencing the floor you could cut out the old planks and lay down new tongue and groove 5/8 OSB sub flooring. Be sure to secure with screws and optionally us a construction adhesive such as "lumber lock" to glue the OSB to each joist.

I doubt it. An installer is an installer, they don't multi-task. You'll need to get someone who knows the various techniques nesessary to solve squeeks in first, then have the carpet installed.

Do a Google search on how to fix floor squeeks. Once familiar, hire a handyman with experience........contact a flooring store for possible names. Maybe the store has a carpenter or handyman they call. But no, the installer is just an installer.

Might need to get a carpenter in too fix the floor, although the carpet fitter might have picked up a few tips himself and be able to do the job for you, call him and ask him. Obviously you will have too see to the floor first before he comes to lay / lays the carpet, unless you want your carpet too have too be ripped back up again if he arrives to fit it, and can't manage the job with the floor.

They usually don't, but if you asked them, maybe for an extra fee they will take care of the squeaks for you. It is a simple thing. They would either screw down the spots or use ring-cut nails.
Screws are best.
