I'm looking for good books - good suggestions - (not just any random internet search that I can simply do) that compares certain symbols (either archetypes or just basic symbols such as snakes, crescents, caduceus etc...) with different religions. For example, a book that can show the snake symbolism within many religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Abrahamic religions etc... (not just one religion). More like a comparative study of myths and symbols within religions. To clarify - the book does not have to have the snake symbolism, it is only an example. I don't want to limit your suggestions. Can anyone help me out with this?
