Yes. Yes it would. Do you follow everything (and I mean absolutely everything!) in Leviticus and Deuteronomy, as well as Genesis, Exodus and Numbers, with regards to instructions on behaviour? If you don't follow the New Testament, you deny that Jesus is the Saviour of the World, which would make you not a Christian, so therefore your initial question is not a true evaluation of yourself. I would suggest that you don't ever say it again. Now, my question to you is, why don't you follow the New Testament? Do you not read it in light of what you read in the Old and, therefore, see that it is the culmination of the Old Testament? Jesus is the one that the prophets said was going to come and redeem the world. Do you not see that when you read the New Testament? The Apostles who wrote the New Testament believed that Jesus was the climax and culmination and fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament. So why do you reject that teaching based on what the New Testament says? Do you just reject it because you don't like it? It doesn't sound nice to you? It doesn't make sense to you that the Saviour of the world would have to die in order for the world to be saved? If you follow the Old Testament, then you must know the Scripture of Isaiah 52-53, which basically says in a nutshell that the deliverer of the world from Sin is going to have to die in order for sin to be defeated. Every single prophecy concerning the Messiah in the Old Testament was fulfilled in the New Testament in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. Why, having read both Testaments, do you reject that? It seems obvious to me that that is the true teaching of the whole Bible, both Old and New Testaments, so why do you reject that teaching? Are you just ignorant in the sense that you have never heard it put the way I have described? Or do you not believe simply because you are a rebellious type of person who, having the truth in front of them, decides to turn away from it just because it doesn't quite fit the view that they have of the world or themselves? Regardless of why you don't believe, the fact is that you don't believe, which the Bible says is not a good thing, so it is actually up to you whether you want to believe or not. You can go on in unbelief, or you can turn towards Jesus and the truth of the New Testament as the fulfillment of the Old. It is solely up to you. May God still love you regardless of which way you choose.

The whole base of christianity is to follow the New Testament as it is the (supposedly) teachings of Jesus. To declared oneself a christian and not follow the New Testament is an oxymoron. To be Jewish you'd need to convert, no consider jesus as the messiah... oh and I remember reading something about a bunch of christians they believe in jesus and the new testament, but also follow the torah... you're a funny christian, still.

you arent really a Christian until you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is all about your heart and where your worship lies.... If you truly believe God, seek HIM in the Word... see in the OT all the promises of the Savior coming to the world to save us... and then read the NT and see how Jesus accomplishes all that is promised in the OT.... Praying God will guide you to know His plan for you

Well, your not a Christian then because Jesus the Christ ,from where the religion gets its name, is from the New Testament.
