It is no wonder the world is in such a mess!
Fundamentalist Christians try to fudge back & forth over whether people should be allowed to have freedom to live as they please, or if freedom should be banished under the will of God, sacrificed to do as God wills, not how we wish.
With people being unable to understand why God will punish people for doing things their way, when in fact, it was God's command that they should have free will to do as they wish.
What then, is the justice in punishing those people, for the very things that you told them they should do?
Where is the justification in this? Free will? God's will? God's will IS free will? Free will IS God's will?
No wonder people are confused. You can't give people the right to sin then punish them when they do.
Things have gotten way out of hand, far too complicated. No wonder people have left churches in droves, divided over simplest of matters as these!
Anyone else feel like I do?
How about an Amen! Lol !!!

--He has in the entire Bible! The answer is simpler than you make it out to be. The Roman historian Jerome coined the Holy Scriptures thus:
*** it-1 p. 308 Bible ***
Name. The English word “Bible” comes through the Latin from the Greek word bi·bli´a, meaning “little books.” This, in turn, is derived from bi´blos, a word that describes the inner part of the papyrus plant out of which a primitive form of paper was made. The Phoenician city of Gebal, famous for its papyrus papermaking, was called by the Greeks “Byblos.” (See Jos 13:5, ftn.) In time bi·bli´a came to describe various writings, scrolls, books, and eventually the collection of little books that make up the Bible. Jerome called this collection Bibliotheca Divina, the Divine Library."
--So indeed, being that the Bible was considered by Jerome the greatest of libraries being that his reference to the "DIVINE" --he would be in agreement with the Bibles claim of settling any matter, as is said here:
(2 Timothy 3:16-17) 16Â All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17Â that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."
One doesn't even have to be a man of God to benefit from its superlative wisdom.
Your judgement on false religion is correct, but if you include the Bible & its own interpretation in your sweeping statements then you are very , very wrong!

God has never given anyone the 'right' to sin.
He has given them the choice.
However, choice involves consequences.
We don't like to admit that, but its true.
If you choose to jump off the top of a building, you must accept the concequences of splatting on the pavement.
God is actually making known, very clearly, what he expects of mankind.
He provided a book.
Its all in there.
Don't understand it?
He has provided an organization to help people understand.
Who are those seriously taking up the work Jesus gave his followers?
Matthew 18:19 "Go and make disciples, teaching them....."
Anybody knocking at your door?

God gave us free will, which means we can choose as we please, however, He doesn't say that there will be no repercussions if we choose to sin. So there is a difference. For example, my child has a will of his own. But if he chooses to do great harm to another child, I would discipline him, would I not? Even though he's got his own will he will have to live with the consequences of his actions.
The bible has never changed. God has never changed. The words are the same. People have interpreted it differently though sometimes in their favor to gain whatever they want to have. That's wrong and God will deal with them in His own time. Meanwhile, don't look upon people, even other christians, but look unto God and His word. Then you will never go wrong or feel confused.

God has not given us the right to sin. He did give us the ability to choose and He told us that He expects obedience. None of us is perfectly obedient. So, instead of the confusion over a secondary issue, let's stick to the basics. God expects perfection and we do not have it. God offers forgiveness to all repentant sinners. I think that that is simple enough.

I used to until I actually got into the word and began to understand. You are way off base friend, I know it makes sense to you but understand this:
There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:12 &16:25

Why worry so much about something that doesn't exist? That's like worrying if Santa really wore black boots and was fat or if the Easter Bunny really had colored eggs. It doesn't matter. Use your own common sense in living your life.
