Brunette is supposed to refer to dark hair, but would light brown hair be considered dark hair?

Blond is sometimes defined as having light hair and light brown hair could possibly be considered light hair. So, could light brown hair be considered blond? Is it blond or brunette? Some people use brunette to simply refer to brown hair, but I'm still not sure. Dark-brown or black hair, especially dark-brown hair is definitely brunette.

LOL. To me it would seem that, yes, and no. Because if you stand a blonde and a light brown haird girl besides each other. The lb hair is darker than the blonde. But I guess I dont know much cause i didnt know that brunette meant anything but brown hair.

i go organic after having years of highlights and my organic colour is a depressing blond with organic blond streaks close to the temples and on accurate. this is totally virtually mild brown too. i'd favor to be observed as blond and does no longer evaluate myself a brunette because i imagine brunette's hair is organic brown, unlike mine.
