The tickle will likely still be there. The feeling originates from hormone secretions that come from various parts of the body. The pickle produces no hormones of it's own, it just reacts to those produced elsewhere. Even if the pickle is gone, the remains of the nerves that used to be there are still intact. They will still react to stimulation produced by hormones from the rest of the body. It's similar to those who have lost limbs, but still report feeling pain in the missing part.
This is an issue worth talking to a doc about. There can be severe psychological distress brought on by the frustration of not being able to relieve this particular tickle, since orgasm without the pickle is nearly impossible (or used to be... talk to a Urologist who understands prostrate massage)...
