hey dears
i noticed that there are a lot of stupid and insulting answers
at muslims questions..
i think that those who answers are ignorants
or maby they are sick people or maby they are doing this because of malevolence which comes from ignorance!!
so why wont you respect our religion like we do with yours?!!

People who are hateful of Islam usually are so because they know so little about it. The only thing that they know is distorted--I have read some emails that "quote" the Holy Qur'an--all misquotations, and sometimes out and out lies. They mix up Middle Eastern culture with Islam, and are, above all, fearful.

Don't worry, you people! We Muslims only wish to live in peace with you. You do not have to convert--your wives and daughters don't have to wear hijab (scarves)--we only wish to live in peace.

Yes, people who say they are Muslims have committed horrible acts of terrorism. But then people who claim to be Catholic blew up the Earl of Montbatton, and nearly assassinated the PM back in the 80s. I know better than to assume ALL Catholics are like that. You should extent that courtesy (and common sense) to Muslims.

Hi there... yeah, I know, there are many insulting answers and bad attitude towards muslims. But, on the bright side, there are a lot of good and understanding people too.. So, that encourages me to log onto this section. Once I had answered a question regarding muslims in India... I am an Indian muslim, so I answered. Another person who was a Hindu answered and wrote that 'the fool sunnydays should be kicked out of India and said I was $hit'... I felt bad... but I said... Hey! why feel bad... he proved to be the $hit... hehehe.. I have great friends of many religions... What difference would be between the ignorant and myself, if i started hating hindus or christians coz they answer badly...
Good and bad people are everywhere.. Ignore the bad ones...

Probably because most people are not very smart. They love to generalize people, they do it all the time. Look at some of the questions on here. You Christians. or Why are all Christian this way or that. And most people love to hate. Or at least act like they do in order to feel superior. And most here do not have a clue about Islam or Muslims in general.

They look at the world though their TV and simply can not figure anything out for themselves. 99.9% of all Muslims are good, fair and honest. And, funny to, is, that I had a friend from India who traveled quite a bit. He told me the best people in the world were Iranians. And for that matter mostly the Muslims.

Hi Anno, I don't know that I have the "right" answer to your question (and it is a good one) but, I can tell you what I think. Maybe the reason Muslims are given rude, insensitive and ignorant answers is because people are affraid of what they do not understand. People tend to shy away from things that they are unsure or clueless about and, rather than ask questions to learn, they mock. I have a friend, who is Muslim. I have asked him many questions about his religion.... I find it interesting. There are others who ask why am I friends with "that kind of people".... You are absolutely right in asking about respect. The same people who are issuing these ignorant answers are likely some of the same ones who always shout about " Our America" and "freedom"- those people should realize that FREEDOM OF RELIGION is a right afforded us by the constitution. People have no more right to talk about other people's religion than people's skin color----- EVERY HUMAN IS BEUTIFUL!!!! Be proud of who you are Anno-- you are beutiful, too!!!!! (girlbaby8765)

I think there is hate towards Muslims today because of all the different cultures in this world they're the most distant. You speak of ignorance and its the religious people today that struggle with the rest of us. I was recently in a Brussels airport and people-watching and one clear Muslim man standing with his little daughter,as he read from the Koran and was reciting the verses to himself. I hope his daughter has more sense when she grows to put that close minded religion behind her or she will suffer the same fear as her father. He was clearly an outcast.

With all do respect, why dont you accept the thruth without spreading the LIE and turn the fact up side down around the internet. In Quran there is no respect with other religion. all are about hate, revenge and violent against other beleiver including Christians/Jews that are also beleive in God of Abraham.
As you know that in other religion, hate, revenge are sin because they beleive in Peace, love and forgiveness. Not is your Quran that killer also will got rewarded.

I dont hate muslim, I got many friend of muslim. Some are radical and some are moderat. Do you ever hear any Christians become suicide bomber/Jihadist/Mujahidin/Terrorist/Hi jacker that attack muslim country. Do you know Christians community are still the largest in the world. Why there is only Muslim that become suicide bomber, jihadist, hijacker or terrorist that attack Christians country and killing many innocent people.

Because all the terrorist/mujahidin/jihadist are not bad people in Islam, they are fanatic and religious people.
