Alcohol affects every individual differently . It can soothe your anxiety , but really release your inner demons . It really depends on your own character . You are not "Mouthy" & "Volitile" the alcohol does that for you . You are a good person , do not let a silly "Drink" control your future . I have lost too much !!!!!!! due to alcohol . Good Luck , My Friend ....

Alchol is a powerful drug. It opens up the gate to your subconcience and you and the people your with can really see the real you the vile disgusting mortal human being that lies beneath. Well I don't know if that is a good answer but I had I friend that told me that when your were drunk that was who you really are. So I supose the best thing is if you don't like the person you become don't open that gate anymore. Better to live in the concience mind and put on a good front that way you can actually have a few friends and hold down a job and conribute to society in a productive manner.

First off, sorry you are having anxiety issues.
Liquor affects your nervous system. Some, especially those with chemical anxiety issues already, get even more anxious and wound up.. and well, you see what happens.
Using alcohol to self medicate is just not a good thing to do.
There are some wonderful anxiety meds with side effects much less dangerous and life altering than drinking. If you don't want to take pills, there is meditation, and therapy.
Please talk to your doc. She can help.

Because drinking makes you talk when you are shy and your bad temper is because of the alcohol you are consumming so if you can't control your behavior do to drinking then don't do it.

It affects people differantly, some get mouthy, some like to cause trouble and fights, but me, just makes me tired and want to fall asleep [which I'm really glad about]. My husband never shuts up when he's drunk, but then again what's new ?

Probably because nobody has yet slapped the heck out of you. But take heart...sooner or later it will happen, then you can start boozeing like an adult rather than a spoiled brat. (You don't need to wait for it..you can start before the slapping).
Bottoms up!

Alcohol lowers your inhibitions. A side effect of this is that it also brings to the surface angers and frustrations that you suppress normally. You are no longer inhibited by shame or fear.
There is no such thing as 'holding your drink'. That is an invention by weak males who want to portray themselves as something they are not!!

Everyone responds to alcohol in different ways. You just happen to be a bitchy drunk. Some people are fun drunks some violent and some depressed. It is just how the alcohol reacts to your body. Make sure you drink with people who understand this!

i think it depends on how you really feel deep inside
as i used to be a bad drunk i would smash stuff up and cause trouble so after awhile i stopped drinking untill i felt better about my self and my life and now when im drunk im pretty chilled out.
also it depends on what kind off alcohol you drink
ive seen people go crazy on vodka!!!!
