try dawn. according to their commercia;s they used it on ducks that get oil spills on them. if it don't work, the last resort is take her to the groomers and have her clipped. good luck.

Well, defiantly don't use Dawn or any kind of dish soap or it may damage the skin. My cat had a fur problem where he had massive clumps of fur all over his back, so we just cut them off with the siccors and shaved him and his fur was smoothe and silky after about 2 months. I would prefer you to do the same.

Soap probably won't take grease off. Find a mild solvent and wash only the greasy area, then use the dawn to clean the solvent off, rinse an WAL AAH!

My friends cats trompled in some fresh laid asphalt and had it caked and dried in their feet. I went over there and helped her scrub her cats paws with Dawn dishwashing detergant. Some of their paws were so caked that it caused the skin to crack and bleed. We just really worked in the detergent and then trimmed off the access fur that was too caked to remove. It never bothered the cats, and worked like a miracle! Hope this helps!

Dawn dish soap...My brother-in-law uses it for everything...hair ..shower ...dishes...just everything. So I think it will be fine for your cat. I have two cats and if I had your problem I would not hesitate to use Dawn on either.

do no longer use any forms of solvents or chemical compounds your bestbet is to cut back it out of the fur. it could in simple terms be on the exterior and the fur will improve back use clippers on a protracted placing

If it's been there a couple months, it isn't coming off. Clip her fur.
