My hair looks even darker.. closer to black than anything! It was lighter before and it was the exact same color as what was on the loreal hair color box (what i wanted), if not, supposedly darker.

How long will it take for the brown to show?

Do I have to wash it a lot?
I want my hair to look like how the hair color box said it would look.

The color will fade in time, due to regular washing, drying, etc. Never, ever believe the color on the box. The only way to predict the color you will get is to do a strand test. You mix a small amount and apply to a small strand as if you were doing your whole head. You can either cut off a small piece, or apply to a bit of hair underneath the top layer. If it's not right, you get a different color, and do it again. Never, ever skip the strand test. You're asking for trouble if you do (and I know this because when I was younger I did just what you did. Now I know better. Learn from me).

The brown could instruct some below specific lighting fixtures situations yet some years in the past i attempted an analogous element yet with a mohagany colour...i replaced into demise it like each and every 2 weeks just to have a number of the colour instruct...the black pigment on your hair is resilient to classic out of the container coloring....the only thank you to truly substitute the colour of your hair is to get a frost the place a thick bleaching agent is utilized...in case you have a sturdy hairdresser or colorist...they could desire to be waiting to take your hair right down to a colour you decide on in brown...i'm getting a frost and a few of my hair is extremely gentle blonde (which i admire) by using a tawny brown colour yet then I even have the answer on for about quarter-hour. i might think of that much less time might decrease the blonding result. sturdy success to you!!!

hi,
rare is the time that color turns out just like what is on the box.
and if you already have color on your hair, it will never turn out like it is on the box. the brown on the box isn't going to show.
if you used permanent color, washing your hair a lot will fade the color, but very little. and don't use Prell to strip the color. you will have a horse's tail texture of hair. black, or close to black hair is the hardest to lift in color, there are so many stages you could get stuck at...like orange, red or breakage. so please don't try to lift this color out yourself. time for a pro to get you the color you want to return to. i hope this helped! :)

well, sorry to say it, but is probably best just to let your hair naturally change back. both dyeing your hair and over-washing damage your hair(i read that in a magazine).
anyways.....i can't predict the future, so i truthfully have no idea when your hair will be how it was before or the color you want.
good luck!
