I'm not trying to cause trouble, I'm just curious to see what people believe in. And why do you consider your religion to be the truth?

God is the one true belief...God is God, the only God, though others call him by other names. My belief is that we reach God through our Savior Jesus Christ and that is the only way...FOR ME to get there. I acknowledge that not everyone takes the path I have chosen. - tweetie

I heard a story once, that went like this. God was in His heaven, and he was watching over THE TRUTH. But he was also extremely busy, what with creating the universe and all, and wondering how he could still pay attention to guarding THE TRUTH so that it would stay safe, until some time when He needed it. So Satan comes along, and says, Well hey, Lord, I see you're awful busy there, and having trouble guarding THE TRUTH too, looks like you really got your hands full, so I'll tell ya what I'm gonna do, I will be happy to guard THE TRUTH for you, and make sure no one gets thier mitts on it before the right time.
So the Lord says, "Great! Go to it!" So Satan takes THE TRUTH, and tears it in to hundreds and thousands of itty bitty little bitty bits, and scatters the hundreds and thousands of itty bitty little bitty bits all over the world. THE TRUTH is in plain sight, but each of us is only able to see one itty bitty little bitty bit of it, and the only way that we will all be able to see the truth once again, is if we each bring our own little piece to the table, and put it side by side with all the other little itty pieces, and see where they all fit together. Only when we are all spiritually mature enough to bring out little bits to the table, will we know THE TRUTH.

I don't believe that there is a one true religion. I don't believe in any religions. I think that all religions were made because people were afraid of what was going to happen to them when they died, and also, to answer all the questions logic couldn't answer. I think that all religions do is cause wars. I think that if people live good lives on earth, then something good will happen to them when they die. I don't know what it is, and I don't try to convince myself otherwise.

None. By definition, religions are based on dogmas, and dogmas are political, which means that they have an ulterior motive, and have corrupted the true teachings of God.

The most pure teachings (dogma free) were those of the Cathars. Buddhists are also dogma free, and their belief is not a religion, although many people mistakenly think it is. That means that Buddhists do not follow a holy book, but learn about Divinity from within, and whilst they themselves, grow as Souls.

I chose "Rational Spirituality" precisely because it is pure, logical, and dogma-free. But because it still reached only relatively few people, I would not call it the one true religion.

OK, probably the Catholic church. Funny though I am not Catholic. Maybe I am an orphan that belongs there. I am a Christian but never had any formal church during my childhood.

I believe the Pope is the leader of all Christians and I think many other Christian religions, other then Catholic, believe that to. And I think in the future most Christians will drift back toward the church that all Christian religions came from. Just what I think.

Of the 5,000+ organized religions in the world, each believes they are the 'true' religion. If you take a vote, the Christians and Muslims would be on top with Hinduism a close third. 80% of the world's population have a distorted world view...what can you do, it's the remnants of our barbaric primitive ancestors.

I believe that different people take a different approach to the spiritual. Whatever a person's views are, they are "true" to them. There is no "one size fits all" religion, and if there were, it wouldn't be much of a religion.

They are all the truth. Different people view religions different ways, so, everyone's going to say that a different religion is the truth. We'll find out when we die.

The Pope is NOT the leader of all christians. In fact, the first christian church is Orthodox (meaning right glory). Catholics are a spin off from it. It is run by a council not by a single pope. Orthodoxy today is still practised the same as it was in the first days.

I don't believe there is any 'One true religion'. There is no way that everyone on earth will believe in the same exact things, 100% of the time. I firmly believe everyone should find their own path, and not just follow what they were told to follow.

The religion that worships the Creator of the Universe...
Religion has always existed, throughout time...since as far back as we can know, mankind has always had some form of worship...that cannot be denied.
Mankind has always been reaching out for the God he instinctively knows is "out there"...
Only in Jesus, can we see God reaching down to mankind.
That is why I am a Christian.
