i just found out that my sister is getting out of hospital and dosent have no place else to go, she is waiting for a heart transplant and if anything happend to her i would know what do to, what kind of thing would i need to do to make her more comfortable and if anything happend to her like if she stopped breathing or anything bad like that what could i do to help until the ambulance came, im gona start training to be a doctor because stuff like this interests me, i suck at it tho, anyway.. does any one have any advice?

well if your sisters waiting for transplant the most important thing would be to keep her for getting a secondary infection that would prevent her from getting the transplant. You would also need to help her with everyday things as she will be very weak. I hope she gets her transplant soon. My father had a heart transplant 13 yrs ago.

take CPR and Firstaid classes read up on all there is to know about heart transplants and aske the doctor for information. Also see if her ins. covers a nurse or CNA to check on her .
