so there's this guy in one of my classes. we sit next to each other, but we only talk on average once a week. it's really aggravating because i like him a whole lot, and i'm scared to start conversations. last week we argued about which numbers were "cooler" than other numbers. it was fun.. but then we didnt talk for the rest of the week. i have pretty good side vision, and sometimes when he thinks i cant see i see him looking in my general direction. do u think he might like me? why won't he talk to meeee??

He probably doesn't think you're interested. If he's the only one to ever start conversations then he probably figures what's the point. Normally, if you want to talk to someone... you do... and if you don't want to... you don't. Try being the first one to talk from now on.

Maybe the same reason why you won't talk to him. He likes you "a whole lot". Just because he's a guy doesn't mean that he's not shy or isn't allowed to be afraid to start a conversation.
Why don't you find a controversial subject, and introduce it to your routine chats with him, you may get a response. Find out more about him, not by stalking him, but by smoothing it into your conversations. If he makes a face about an opinion expressed by yourself, ask "what's that supposed to mean?" not in a rude way, but in a playful way.
Oh, and don't be afraid to disagree or talk back. If you honestly don't agree with an opinion of his during your small talk, express it. Guys like girls who speak for themselves.
Oh, another way to go about this would be to look straight at him when you catch him looking in your direction and innocently ask if everything's okay. Getting caught and having to face you might get him less nervous about it (talking to you/asking you out)
I guess you could always just ask him straight to his face, but I wouldn't.

He's probably just really shy and scared that you won't like him. Or maybe he just wants to make friends. Keep an eye on him and talk with him, but don't expect any sudden changes. Keep sending feedback to me about between u guys. That's what happend with me. After a month, we had to do a project together. One day, he finally asked me out and I'm so happy right now!

First just play cool. You don't want to seem eager or desperate. Ask him casual questions like whats our homework, can i borrow a pencil, or whats the answer to a questions. After you both start talking he will come up to you and start talking to you. For a couple days just ignore him to see if he cares, if he does he will start the conversation and if he doesn't find a new guy. Experience

I think he does like you. There can be a million reasons why he hasn't told you. Nerves, fear of rejection. So try and make clear that you like him without telling him. Unless you just go up to him. But if your not the kind of person who does that then go with my first suggestion. GOOD LUCK!!!

Well It sound like you guy are talking and be coming friends. Talk to him more and ask if he likes anyone if he does not and you guys are friends then ask him if maybe he wants to hang out something.

increase contacts with him, spend maximum time with him. exchange books and notes. if possible give him a letter telling what u feel about him. if he responds well then he likes u. otherwise forget him. try new venture. enjoy the life!
