The heater in the flat I've just started renting has decoloured the middle of the wall and window sill. I might be able to get it sorted in the future, but for now, has anyone got any creative decorating ideas to conceal it?

Thanks!

Painting the wall would be best but check w/your landlord before you get started. Some landlords won't let you paint or do any kind of "remodeling" and might keep your security deposit given you gave one. Talk to him/her about wanting to make the room look better, hopefully they'll be up for the change. Also, DO NOT use stickers, if anything try posters. Stickers won't come off easily later on.

Good luck.

If you dont want to mess with paint right away, then put a book case or a stand in front of the window with a nice plant on the top of it!

Paint. Or stickers. Lots of stickers.
