Yes it is a crime equivilant to attempted murder. As crazy as it sounds, you could face the same punishment as you would if you tried to kill someone else.

If the newscaster mentioned the guy replaced into arrested for attempting suicide quit gazing or listening to that channel. They make issues up. In no state or jurisdiction in the U. S. or its territories is making an attempt suicide against the regulation. What you decrease to rubble in the attempt could be an offense you get arrested for yet no longer the attempt. Police do quit, bodily if mandatory, detain and transport attempt suicides to a psychological wellbeing center for checkout via the psychological wellbeing execs. the power can save the attemtpors (in my and maximum states) for seventy two hours of commentary and finding out. If the pros think of the attemptor continues to be a possibility to self or others they might practice to a decide for a compelled dedication, uncommon considering the fact that maximum who choose self commit. in maximum cases the attemptors circulate away the power interior of a pair of hours.

It is a crime to attempt to harm yourself in most US communities. Yes they can lock you up in a regular jail. They can also place you into a mental crisis facility.

lol, nah you won't be arrested and it's not a crime, but they might send you to a mental institution where when you go there, they'll ask you what you did and why... BUT it you constantly do it, you'll be on suicide watch through a social worker and it's practically like being in jail cause they go through ALL you personal stuff.

No but you can be 302'd which means you're going to a hospital for treatment and all that bull crap. A 302 is a nice way of saying you're getting locked up for at least a week.
