Nah. Historically speaking, the Romans would not have allowed any corpse be removed from any cross after a crucifiction. It served as a warning to other potential criminals. It is most likely his body (if he existed anywhere outside the bible) was devoured by carrion birds and the bones scattered, intermingling with other bones. It would have been impossible to sort his bones from those of other nearby cruciftion victims after they fell from the cross.

One would think James Cameron would be smart enough to know that. Maybe he just needs the cash flow and went looking for controversy. Or maybe he really is just a dumb@ss.

ETA: Funaholic - For the same reason I'll most likely (eventually) get 'thumbs down' for this answer. Curiosity and Education are not allowed by fundies. There is obviously one lurking around this question somewhere.

um james cameron is the dude behind the titanic.....the freakin titanic. furthermore, we have jewish authors outside the Bible in the day of Jesus such as josephus, that testified to the resurrection. The Gospel documents tell that Jesus rose in front of a group of 500 people and the first century church would never have survived if Jesus did not rise from the grave. For what good is a dead God? It is a money making business to tick off Christians, this is just another one.

hi. properly i don't understand if i'm able to assert what he replaced into fairly asserting, i'm no longer Jesus. yet i will provide it a shot. you could relate this word to the identify of a "born back christian". the thought being that they now see the dominion of God as a results of fact they have been saved with the help of Jesus and consequently, "born back". Rebirth can mean almost something, metaphorically, including rejuvenation or in simple terms a metamorphosis in thought. The gist of the asserting is that, until a guy alterations his strategies to the techniques of God and gentle-weight, he won't see the superb kingdom. thank you and solid bye. P.S- something reported interior the above message is my own opinion and is no longer provided as actuality. you're unfastened to disagree and that i ask for forgiveness for any offense i ought to have inadvertently brought about, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that I assure you that it replaced into no longer my purpose nor could i decide directly to push any of my ideals upon the reader. thank you and solid bye.

I don't plan on watching it or boycotting it either. I don't really care, so I could go either way. If they really did find the bones of "Jesus", good, because they can get these relegious nutjobs some lubrication so that they will stop squaking this B.S.

In fact, I think that I have a softball game during the showing, which I will be going to.

Godzilla...I am hoping it will be on again...I have waited weeks for the History Channel's "The Dark Ages" so I decided to stay up tonight and watch it after Battlestar Galactica. This afternoon I have watched shows about the Hell, Satan and Nostradomis...very revealing after being here. - tweetie

I'd watch it if I had cable.

Do remember James Cameron is an EXCELLENT director and can turn FICTION and FANTASY into something you believe is real. He is THAT GOOD at what he does! He is a MASTER MAGICIAN!

No, it would be huge waste of time. Anyone with any common sense knows nothing can be proven by the bones.

Probably not. It is on opposite "Desperate Housewives" and I think it is more interesting fiction than the documentary will be.
