Just be consistent, keep giving him the cup. He WANTS the bottle if you want to get him OFF the bottle do NOT give it to him.

They have a bottle, I bought it at walmart, it has a nipple that is like a sippy cup nipple but its a bottle and it has handles you can take off or put on. Its great for changing from bottle to sippy cup.
You might want to try putting a little of his formula in the sippy cup first.
Good luck

I don't get it. Why are you trying so desperately to get your son hooked on juice which is full of sugar and has no more nutrutional value than soda? Kids are supposed to have a MAX of 4 oz. a day of juice. If he wants formula, let him have formula in the sippy cup!

Been there done that...Here's a light bulb moment for ya...I say that cause it was for me too. My son ,now almost 4, would NOT drink juice OR eat fuit. guess what we found out.......He has MAJOR acid reflux. He NEVER has symptoms as a baby. NEVER threw up cried alot etc. But the acid in the juice made his tummy hurt. I asked how he would know if he never took a drink of it and they told me that the smell lets them know. Weird huh? He still won't/can't drink it. may be worth having a PH PROBE done to see if that may be the problem. If not for the probe test we would have never known he had a high acid level. GOOD LUCK!

I'm having the same problem with my son. He just turned 12months and I have tried everything. He is so dependent on milk. He eats everything!!!! but will not drink juice. I wish you luck. My sister is a pediatric nurse and said to just keep giving it to him and eventually he will take it. We just started so I hope it works.
