need sanded and refinished does any buddy know how much it is or can i do it my self and what kind of equipment do i need

if your not real fussy you can do it yourself
floor sander are easily rented
start with a coarse paper, besure to keep the sander moving at all times and vary your pattern
once you get most of the finish off start over with a finer grit
work you way down to finer sandpaper until you cannot see any scratches from the paper
if the floor is really beat up you may opt to leave the deeper dents so that you do not have to remove to much wood and rick going through to tongue and groove section of hardwood.

Oh and make sure it is actually solid wood befor you start some products are actually venere which is very thin only good way to refinish this material is to chemically strip it...Lets

the rental places may be able to give you some advise.

ah one other thing if your uneasy about it and you have hard wood in a back bedroom or a room not used that much. test your tallents there first

yes u can do it ur self, it's much cheaper, u need 2 go to lowes or home depot, rent a sander & ask them they should b able 2 get u all u need

You should be able to do it yourself. Go to Homedepot and ask there how it's done.
