They told me college was going to be fun. College is nothing but stress and depression to me.

High school was easy and fun.

Just keep in mind that once college is over, you will be getting a better job than most people have in the real world.

I am sorry that you are not enjoying college. Who ever told you it was fun is probably some one who parties alot. But college is where you go to get prepared for your future career or degree. I don't know how it is stressing you out but maybe you can find a hobby are find something fun in your spare time. High school is a worry free time because you have a adult or someone taking care of your needs ,paying the bill, and most kids are free to do a lot. Be blessed and hang in there.

The ones that left out the stress issue and how hard it is.
Those are the ones that party a lot.You can still have fun.Remember all that hard work and studying will pay off
in the end.Maybe you won't get stuck in a everyday job like mine.Make friends that will help.

Yes I know what you are talking about, but the fun part is usually no dress codes you can ddress a teacher on 1st name basis sometimes. Plus they have a lot of activities you can have fun at but your more likely studing waiting for spring break so you can head to Fla. with everyone else.

interesting.. just live and enjoy ur college life. many people are in high school, but its all a cycle. preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, college, job, raises, advances, etc. retirement.
do you want to be successful and get a good job? then try to make it through college (:

it will pay off in the long run...

It depends on how people or how you will think college will be...You would not be strong and matured enough if highschool and college is the same...It is a preparation to your future...In college you will learn many things.. And it is preparing yourself to face a bigger world with happines and sadness as well..Goodluck!!!

they meant you're going to take interesting courses and a great social life, whatever you're referring to. just get organized and pay more attention on the subjects because it's harder than high school. good luck!
