I'd recommend going to a discount sneakers place and looking for last year's model is a Nike, New Balance, or Asics shoe. Use the guide below to help you pick the right shoe. To find a store, use Yahoo or Google and type in "discount sneakers" + your zipcode. This should get you some hits. You can also check on-line close-outs. Hope that helps.

While I don't recommend cheap running shoes (any other kind of cheap shoes are ok), if you can't afford more than$30 shoes, I would suggest getting some Dr. Scholl's or another brand of insert to give you a little more cushioning. Usually the cheaper shoes don't have much cushioning or support, and may cause you to have injuries.

I would recommend Asics as they are the most supportive shoe however they are expensive. My suggestion would be to look on ebay; a lot of times you can find new shoes at resale prices. If you aren''t familiar with ebay, when you search for your shoe, type in "Asics (your size)" and you can also include either NWT or NWOT which means new with tags or new without tags. Hopefully you'll be able to find some.

I've actually had decent luck with Sears, Kohls, and JC Penny. They have sales a couple times a year, and sell last years models at a huge discount. I found Asics Gels for $30 a pair last year, and bought 4 pairs!

well, since you have flat feet, you've probably already been to a specialist to get fitted for insoles. If you look on eastbay.com or one of those types of web catalogs, they can direct you to a decent pair of shoes that are cheaper because they have discontinued the style. after you get those, you can simply take out the factory insoles and put in your fitted ones.
i'm an assistant track and cross-country coach and a college runner. let me know if that helps!

I was not even really talking about the BAB plushies in that last sentence; in that first part of the rant, I stated that I was talking about the fans in general, not only the minority of Brony Redditors. In that last part, I was more or less referencing to other fandom drama on this side of the brony whatchamacallit, like the Twilicorn and Derpy nonsense, as well as the whole debacle with that bronyhate sub(post metsa failed raid). I apologize if you took it out of context and thought I was referring to the sub, my mistake.
