My bf of 3 years is a good man. Very loyal and all but he is definately not a romantic. I know he cares for me and loves me very much. I just can't stand the fact that he doesn't say nice things to me when the moment is right. Stupid question I know, but will they be good husbands someday?

my girlfriend made this how elaborate set up for me to watch the superbowl and she gave me a big hug and kiss and said she worked all day to set it up and that she hoped i was happy and she loved me very much. i responded yea yea hurry up turn on the tv. bottom line she was pissed for a few weeks but she loves me and knows i mean well and tht i love her, so small things like that can be overlooked

Marriage doesn't change anyone. Perhaps your question is Will I be satisfied with him after the vows? If you are wanting to know if there is something better out there. Then you owe it to yourself and to your loyal and good boyfriend to search for something different. I know I know you think its sounds horrible leaving someone you love and care some much for. But believe this if you take nothing else from my self absorbed rant, YOU DON'T WANT TO DECIDE LATER AFTER THE BIG WEDDING AND HONEYMOON ETC ETC. "HEY YOU KNOW I WISH I HAD FOUND SOMEONE THAT FULFILLED MY NEEDS BETTER." DIVORCE RATE IN THE COUNTRY IS VERY VERY VERY HIGH!!!!!!!! PLEASE DON'T DO THAT TO YOURSELF OR YOUR BF. GOOD LUCK

You say he works a lot, that's very good. Does he make time out of his busy schedule to see you? Does he call you often?
Does he pay his bills on time? Is he financially responsible?
Does he remember your birthday? Does he get you what you want for Christmas?
You said he loves you very much. Does he treat you with kindness and respect?
Not all men are verbal with their feelings. Perhaps he shows you how much he loves you in the way he treats you.

Depends on what you think a good husband is. That is a matter of opinion. The best thing i would think is to have both.

Sounds like my dad, who is a very good husband and father. Love is not flowers and chocolates, it's holding someone's puke bucket for them, and doing it gladly.

why do you think women cheat. exactly because they need more. the solution is - you chose him to be your husband provider and you choose the guy next door to be your romantic honey maker. and all conventional moralists can eat your hat.
