It says in Genesis 6 vs6 "And it repented the lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart." But after the flood God then said Genesis 8 vs 21 .... " I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of mans heart is evil from his youth; neither will i again smite any more every thing living as i have done". And if God didn't love us he wouldn't have sent his son to die so that all men would have a chance for salvation and to go to heaven.

No, God is not sorry He ever made man. Man is the image and likeness of God in the earth. Man is the crown jewel of all of God's creation. Why would God send His Son to die for us if He did not think we were important to Him?
