I have a handful of clients in your position. We've found ahppiness using heavier, moisturizing, silicone based products, and staying away from the blowdryer. After towel drying, I like to apply a leave-in conditioner for moisture and some weight - Graham Webb Silk Leave-In, Rusk Smoother Leave-In, or Bumble and bumble Leave-In all work well. Comb through the application. Secondly, I apply smoothing products to bind the single hairs together yeilding a smoother result - Bumble and bumble Straight, Grooming Creme, Brillianteen, Defrizz are great products for this. Halo Smoothing Gel and Curl Creme are others I like. Apply to the hair; comb through. Place the hair where you like it, scrunch if you want, and allow to air dry. Try not to play with it while its drying. Once dry, you can apply silicone shine sprays, waxes, or hairspray to finish the look.

You should straighten it...my hair is very 'puffy' sometimes, so I just straighten the top layer, or all depending on my mood :D
Also, there are certain types of conditioner that may help.
If you take a shower at night and go straight to sleep, then sometimes it will make your hair puffy- if this is the cause, you should dry your hair before sleeping

you should use Aussie variety gel that works large. it truly is termed "Tizz No Frizz" - I particularly have truly thick, lengthy hair and it truly works large on mine. the different issue is to apply a shampoo categorized for "cutting-part" kinds. even as Matrix makes one there are countless different manufacturers also at each drug save. be particular to dry your roots first and then use a round brush on the ends once they don't look so moist. utilizing it before then will reason frizz and bulk. My stylist exhibits utilizing a pomade (i exploit Pantene) gently on your finger information and operating it through that section that you want flat. be careful getting it thinned and because which could artwork hostile for your type. attempt a stylist which will texturize/ razor it. regardless of the truth that in case you do not favor to lay our a fortune getting your hair shrink - which i do no longer - you are able to flow to TGF Haircutters. A tip I realized from some girlfriends is that at TGF you want to flow to the first chair stylist on both aspect - suitable or left. they are the "genuine" stylist and in my journey, truly reliable. i tips utilizing the recommendations before replacing your stylist, it may only be the way you're styling it. truly wish this enables!

Use a flat iron. Seriously. Just make sure you use a good heat protectant.

Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner for anti-pouf.
I'd also try a serum, or a heavy after-shower conditioner to weigh it down.

Comb Sunsilk Anti-Poof cream thru damp hair and let it air dry. Please do not use a flat iron, they fry your hair.
